From Surviving to Thriving: Polished Pebbles Shine Bright.

COMPANY OVERVIEW:

The Polished Pebbles Girls Mentoring Program in Chicago has supported over 1500 African American and Latina girls aged 10 to 18 across 30+ schools and communities each school year. This program has successfully mentored and prepared 10,000 girls and young women of color for their future careers. Additionally, it has connected over 600 mentors with girls in more than 125 school and community locations.

Polished Pebbles was facing a challenge in compensating for the loss in revenues due to the expiration of pandemic grants. The main focus for the organization was to increase awareness and revenue from both corporate and individual donations within the next 12 months.

  • Fundraising
  • Donor Engagement
  • Campaign Implementation

THE PROBLEM

The organization was facing challenges in generating and executing effective fundraising campaigns. They needed to focus on crafting captivating strategies, producing compelling content, and utilizing different digital platforms to optimize donations and backing for their cause. The main obstacles lie in outdated website, visual, uninteresting text, and a lack of user-friendliness. The current theme is no longer supported, resulting in a disappointing user experience. This is evident from the decline in referral traffic and the high bounce rate of 81%, indicating a significant decrease in visitor engagement. To make a lasting impact and achieve success, they wanted to enhance their graphic design, refine their brand messaging, and ensure seamless integration with the donation process.
